Almost every time I get in my car I have a trip planned to hit multiple locations for shopping and visiting friends etc it's a habit I picked up during the 1970s gas crisis.
But the thing is my vehicle is completely guilt free because it's a Chevy Volt that I drive 95% of the time in full electric mode and it's charged from my 39 solar panels so it's almost completely carbon neutral.
Isn't it great to drive on sunshine? I'm still amazed that it's possible to drive hundreds of miles simply from the energy collected from solar panels on our roof. Magical. And the Chevy Volt really was an incredible engineering landmark. We enjoyed having one for a few years.
